These terms of use govern access to and use of the PetCareConnect platform, published by César De Leeuw ([Numéro d’entreprise BCE à compléter]). By creating an account, you accept these terms.
1. Purpose of the platform
PetCareConnect is a platform connecting pet owners with pet care professionals (vets, groomers, trainers, pet sitters, dog walkers). We provide a search and booking tool; we are not a party to the care or service agreement between the owner and the professional.
2. Free of charge
Access to the platform is currently free, for owners and professionals alike. We reserve the right to introduce paid offers in the future; if so, you will be informed in advance and no feature will become paid without your consent.
3. User account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for the activity carried out from your account. You must be of legal age or have the permission of a legal representative.
4. Professionals
Professionals are responsible for the accuracy of their profile information and for meeting their legal and ethical obligations (in particular registration with the relevant professional body for vets). We carry out a verification, but it does not replace the professional’s own responsibility.
5. Appointments
An appointment request made through the platform is a request that may require confirmation by the professional. Cancellation and service terms are a matter for the agreement between the owner and the professional. The platform is not responsible for the performance or quality of the services.
6. User conduct
It is forbidden to use the platform for illegal purposes, post fake reviews, impersonate anyone, collect other users’ data or disrupt the service.
7. Reviews and content
Reviews must be honest and based on a real experience. We may moderate or remove any unlawful, defamatory or misleading content.
8. Liability
The platform is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it available but do not guarantee it will never be interrupted. We cannot be held liable for disputes between owners and professionals.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account in the event of a breach of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of the judicial district of Brussels have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the mandatory right of consumers to bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence.
