The platform is currently free. We do not process any payment data (bank card) for using the service. Should a paid offer be introduced in the future, this policy would be updated and your consent obtained where the law requires it.
4. Pre-listed professionals (information under Article 14 GDPR)
To offer a useful service from launch, some professional profiles (for example vets) may be created from publicly available professional data (in particular public business listings and professional registers). These profiles only contain professional data: practice name, address, professional contact details and, where applicable, registration number.
The professional concerned is informed by email of the creation of their profile, the source of the data, the purpose (putting them in touch with potential clients) and their right to object. They can claim, edit or have their profile deleted at any time via the link in that email, or by writing to contact@petcareconnect.be. No sensitive personal data is processed and no text-message canvassing takes place.
5. Data sharing
When you book an appointment, the necessary information is shared with the professional concerned. We never sell your data. We use technical processors (hosting, email delivery) who act on our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
6. Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, then for the applicable legal periods. You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. To exercise them: contact@petcareconnect.be. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels.
